To all who read this, I am only Charlie's sister-in-law, but have been so for over 40+ years. It is so hard for me to believe it has been a year, since that dreadful day that Alvery called us to give us the news. We took the news harder than expected, as we just wanted more time. Christi, his neice wanted more time to talk about Comics with her uncle, and get his advice. She treasures the talks they did have, and knows that she is following in his footsteps. He was proud that she was in that profession, and wanted to talk more when time was available. Chris, wanted more time to heal wounds, and be a brother again, and wanted to be the little brother to Charlie, just as he was when they were growing up. I wanted more time to laugh and talk about Dani and Linda, to let them know, the love never left and concern for all three of them. Now Dani, has her own children, and Charlie was a Grandfather to his own, and to hear him laugh when he talked of them. His Love of Life, Linda, was just that. He loved her more than anything. She was the best thing to ever come into his life, as she gave him Dani. The day they married on March 24th, in our backyard in Houston, was also a special day for him, but to him, Linda was his wife, his partner, his life since the day they came together. To you, Linda and Dani, Thank you for making his life so complete. Thank you for being there to take care of him, and to Love him. Charlie, We will love you always, and will laugh at the times we had with you.

Linda and Dani, words cannot express how sad we are to have lost Charlie, Chris especially. He truly loved his brother, and misses him more than words can say. We talk often of his humor, his love of life, and especially of Dani. You, next to Linda, were the best thing to happen to him. When you were born, he named a star for you to always look up to. He wanted only the best for both of you, because his love held no bounds. Know that we loved him dearly and deeply.
Lovingly yours,
Charisse, Chris, and Christi Anne Walls
